Elaine Ruttmann

Elaine Ruttmann age 80, of Riverview Dr., Upper Sandusky died at Wyandot Memorial Hospital at 11:51AM Sat. Nov. 14, 2009. She was born on Aug. 11, 1929 in Normal, IL to the late Warren (Sam) & Rachael (Bollyard) Amacher. Elaine married Schuyler (Scotty) Ruttmann on Feb, 18, 1951 in Springfield, IL and he survives in upper Sandusky. Also surviving are a son James (Vicki) Ruttmann, Bucyrus, OH, and two daughters, Jan (Mike) Gasser, Columbus, OH, Julie Raines, Lima, OH and 8 grandchildren Sydney (J.C.) Blake, Corporal Scott T. Ruttmann U.S. Marine Corp., Samantha Ruttmann, Tricia (Kevin) See, Christopher Gasser, Leslie (Cameron) Carlile, Evan Miller, Madison Miller and 5 great grandchildren, Gabriel, Brody, Elliot, Grant and Aidan. A granddaughter Danielle Belcher-Higginbotham and a brother Warren (Sam) Amacher and a sister Wanda Knight, preceded her in death. She was a 54 year member of the John Stewart United Methodist Church, Upper Sandusky. Elaine was a homemaker and an avid golfer, playing in Ladies Golf Leagues at Lincoln Hills, Upper Sandusky and Feather Sounds Golf Course, Clearwater Fl, where they had spent 25 yrs. at their winter home, which was located on the 16th hole of Feather Sound Golf Course. She enjoyed spending time at Ellis Lake, Upper Sandusky, and holidays especially the Fourth of July, flowers and traveling. She was a member of the Alpha Tri Sigma Sorority. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday Nov. 18, 2009 at 11:00AM at the John Stewart United Methodist Church, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating with burial in the Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Family and friends may call at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home from 2-4:00 & 6-8:00PM on Tues. And one hour prior to the service at the church on Wed. Memorials may be made to the John Stewart United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the Wyandot Memorial Hospital, in care of the Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E.
