Ruby Adams

Ruby J. Adams, age 69, of N. Hazel St. Upper Sandusky died at her residence at 11:50 a.m. on Mon. Jan. 4, 2010. She was born Dec. 15, 1940 in Marseilles, OH to the late Roscoe & Jennette (Stoneburner) Roberts. She is survived by her husband Bert J. Adams whom she married in Upper Sandusky on Oct. 5, 1985. Her son Dean A. Sanford preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 2008, she is survived by his wife Patricia A. Sanford, Upper Sandusky, 3 grandchildren Christopher (Erin) Lynch, Kimberly King & Valerie (Noah) Meier, 5 great grandchildren, Sierra King, Emma Meier, Corrine King, Jenna Lynch & Jonah Meier. Also surviving are step-sons Troy (Hope) Adams Copperas Cove, TX, Jeffery (Lisa) Adams, Monroe, MI, Trevor (Carolyn) Adams, Marion & Derrick Adams, Bucyrus, 10 step grandchildren Ashlee Adams, Benjamin Adams, Heather Adams, Stephanie Adams, Spencer Adams, Victoria Adams, Haley Adams, Emily Adams, Heather Robinson & Brandon Robinson, 2 step great grandchildren Clayton Bernard & Bailey Yingling. She is survived by 2 sisters Maxine (Burt) Kelly, Findlay and June Roberts, Upper Sandusky, a special sister-in-law Barbara Roberts, Upper Sandusky, she is preceded in death by 8 sisters Ruth Roberts, Adaline Roberts, Kathryn James, Rose Simerly, Mable Boganwright, Garnet Schwilk, Eileen Everly, Betty Brown & 5 brothers Franklin Roberts, Charles Roberts, Alfred Roberts, Richard Roberts & Robert Roberts. She graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1958. Mrs. Adams attended Community Christian Church. She worked at the former Millington Plastics prior to retiring from AO Smith on Jan. 1, 1999 after 36 years of empolyment. She was member of Order of Eastern Star #366, Upper Sandusky. Her hobbies were gardening, traveling, canning, woodworking, crocheting, she loved flowers and she wrote a book titled "Adams Family History". Mrs. Adams enjoyed being with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and living life to the fullest. Funeral services will be held Fri. Jan. 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Bringman Clark Funeral Home on Thurs. Jan. 7, 2010 from 2-4:00 p.m. & 6-8:00 p.m. Memorials contributions may be made to Hospice of Wyandot Co, Gideons International or Community Christian Center in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
