Andrew Wines

Andrew P. Wines, age 60, died on June 13, 2008 at 11:30 pm in his home. He was born on Feb. 8, 1948 in Detroit, MI to the late Raymond L. and Angeline N. (Clark) Wines. He moved to Upper Sandusky Ohio at age six residing there to age 29. Andy moved to Clinton, IN for eleven years and most recently residing in Columbia City, IN for the past 20 years. On Aug 23, 1968 he was united in marriage to Vicki Sandridge. Surviving is his wife Vicki (Sandridge) Wines, Columbia City, IN, son Todd (Lara) Wines, Sackets Harbor, NY, grandchildren Joshua, Justin, Tiffany, Gabriella and Hannah all of Sackets Harbor, NY, three brothers Barry (Mary Alice) Wines, Upper Sandusky, Mark (Carol) Wines, Fostoria, Kevin (Betty) Wines, Upper Sandusky, three sisters Linda (Michael) Rowda, Edwardsville, IL, Maureen Clark, Orlando, FL, Laurie (Steve) Donaugh, Upper Sandusky. Andy graduated from Upper Sandusky High school in 1966 and attended both Tiffin and Findlay Colleges. He was employed at Westinghouse, Upper Sandusky, OH, Alcan, Terra Haute, IN, and for the past 15 years at Tenneco, Ligonier, IN. As a boy he was a member of the Boy Scouts where he helped plant trees at the Upper Sandusky reservoir. Andy was active in the National Guard. He was a former member of the VFW Post #2842 and the Knights of Columbus #2050 both of Upper Sandusky. Andy was a member of the Izaak Walton league of America, Clinton, IN. He was an avid Michigan Wolverines football fan. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading and spending time with his grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Deacon Jason Kahle officiating. Burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 pm on Wed. June 18, 2008 and an hour prior to the funeral on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Ft.
