Annie C. Harr Rejoice! I am no longer here. I am with my best friend "Jesus"! Annie was born to Charles Cushing (C.C.) and Mable (Saunders) Trefry on Dec. 2, 1920 she was the twelfth child of fourteen. Her childhood home was the historical "Dodge House" 1744 a stately colonial in Beverly, MA. Her grandfather was captain C.K. Trefry a sea captain of the "Brisk of Yarmouth" Nova Scotia 1877. Gone before her were her parents 6 brothers and 4 sisters. She was married to Rev. Carl Harr on June 17, 1949 and he preceded her in death 10 months before. She is survived by 3 children Stephen Harr, Tim(Angie)Harr, and Gary Wess Harr all of Upper Sandusky. Annie is also survived by 2 brothers Frank Trefry, Sam Trefry, and 1 sister Vera Reynolds all of Massachusetts, grandchildren Bryan Harr,Oakdale,CT, Summer Harr, Findlay, Nick (Ashley)Harr,Oakdale,CT and great granddaughter Zoe Alexis. Mrs. Harr a Nazarene ministers wife, enjoyed playing piano, the organ and singing. She taught children in Church, Bible School, her Day Care Center, and in her home for a total of 60 years. She retired from Harr's Day Care which she first opened in 1963 as Harr's Stay & Play Center and more recently known as Castle of Kids where she loved and cared for children in the community. Annie was greeted in heaven by her heavenly father, husband, parents,brothers, sisters and friends who went before her. Annie C. Harr age 88 formerly of N. 7th St. died at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Sat. Jan. 24, 2009 at 2:24 a.m. The family will greet friends at Bringman Clark Funeral Home on Tues. Jan. 27, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wed. Jan. 28, 2009 at 10:00am in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Robert Chew officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, OH. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or the charity of the donor's choice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
