Brittany A Vent

Brittany A. Vent, a cherished soul whose love for life touched those around her, was born on August 14, 1995, in Upper Sandusky. She passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, at the Wyandot County Nursing Home after bravely battling brain cancer. Brittany was a proud graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, where her passion for animals began to take shape. She furthered her education by earning a certificate as a Veterinarian Technician from Brown Mackie College, a stepping stone that led her to fulfilling careers at Diamond-M Veterinary Clinic in Kenton and Lincoln Way in Upper Sandusky. Her commitment to animal care demonstrated her kind-hearted nature and her desire to help the voiceless, qualities that endeared her to both furry friends and their owners alike. She had a fondness for cows, often found collecting and decorating items that celebrated these beloved animals. Brittany found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping, playing euchre with friends and family, taking photographs to capture moments, and getting lost in the pages of a good book. These activities not only filled her life with happiness but also created cherished memories with those she loved, especially with her uncles, bailing hay under the warm sun. Above all, Brittany’s heart belonged to her family. She is survived by her devoted father, Christopher J. Vent, and her loving mother, Sue E. (Frey) Vent, both of Upper Sandusky. Her boyfriend, Cory Minter, and their son, DeKlan Minter, brought her immense joy during their time together. Brittany was a nurturing sister to Rene Vent, offering her support and love. Additionally, she leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry forward her legacy. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bernard F. Vent Sr. and Helen M. Vent, and her maternal grandparents, Paul and Jocele Frey, who welcomed her with open arms into the eternal embrace of family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday January 20, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Chapel, Kirby burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Kirby. Visitation will be held Sunday 1pm-6pm at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with a prayer services at 6pm.
