Dorothy L Mouser

Dorothy L. Mouser, age 94 of Upper Sandusky died on Wed. June 6, 2012 at 9:09 a.m. in Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 7, 1918 in Crane Twp., Wyandot County to Robert J. Hehr and Grace E. (Troup) Hehr. She married Laurice D. Mouser in 1943 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1979. Mrs. Mouser has a son surviving Jeffrey W. (Linda) Mouser, LaRue, daughter Judith L. (Arthur) Bach, Mansfield, 5 grandchildren Kelly (Brent) Flaskerud, Cheverly; MD, Jon Patrick McConnell, Mansfield, Melissa (Kenny) Rife, Upper Sandusky, Scott (Natalie) Mouser, Harpster, Jeremy (Nanette Metzger) Mouser, Nevada, 4 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 7 step great granddaughters, 2 brothers Charles (Jane) Hehr, Richard Hehr both of Upper Sandusky, 2 sisters Rachel Schutt, Naples; FL Carol (Steve) Matteson, Kenton. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers David, Robert, James Hehr, 2 sisters Jane Robey, Rosalie Lee. Mrs. Mouser graduated from Upper Sandusky High School class of 1936. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Neumeister’s Bakery. Mrs. Mouser was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She also was a member of American Legion Post #225 Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild, and Wyandot County Senior Citizens all of Upper Sandusky. Mrs. Mouser was a former member of VFW Post #2842 Auxiliary and Eagles #2184 Auxiliary. For hobbies she enjoyed word search puzzles, going out to eat, traveling and riding her bike. Mrs. Mouser was an avid reader and enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her sisters. A funeral service will be held Sat. June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in BRINGMAN CLARK Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Trester officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Sat. at the funeral home.
