G. Lorene Wall, age 95 of Upper Sandusky died on Fri. March 5, 2010 at 8:35 a.m. at the Inn At Westbrook, Upper Sandusky. She was born Jan.14. 1915 in Hurricane, W VA to the late Blackburn and Lina May (Forth) Harbour. She married Howard E. Wall Dec. 12, 1933 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1992. Mrs. Wall is survived by a son Howard “Bud” (Vicki) Wall, Findlay, a daughter Kandy (Phil) Conley, Carey, a foster daughter Deborah Williams, Virginia Beach, VA, 10 grandchildren Vivian (Timothy) Johnson, Arlington, Jon Wall, Columbus, Kevin Wall, Upper Sandusky, Jeffrey (Connie) Wall, Upper Sandusky, Lesa (Bill) Gottfried, Upper Sandusky, Ryan (April) Conley, Findlay, Darren Conley, North Baltimore, Nichole Conley, Findlay, Shannon Conley, Findlay, Kelly Marvin, San Francisco, CA, 13 great grandchildren Maria Johnson, Arlington, Steven Johnson, Arlington, Micah Wall, Upper Sandusky, Tyler Wall, Upper Sandusky, Ashley Wall, Upper Sandusky, Walker (April) Gottfried, Upper Sandusky, Danielle (John) McWilliams, Boulder, CO, Wade (Chelsea) Gottfried, Nevada, Bradley Conley, Findlay, Ryan Conley, Orlando, FL, Zarie Conley, Cygnet, Justin Conley, Benton Ridge, Rowan Conley, Findlay, 5 great great grandchildren Owen Gottfried, Abigail Gottfried, Gage McWilliams, Will Gottfried, Weston Gottfried and a brother Charles Roy Harbour, Upper Sandusky. She is preceded in death by 3 sisters Evelyn Oney, Virgia Marie Myers, Dorothy King and a brother Donald Harbour. Mrs. Wall was a homemaker. She owned and operated the Sycamore Drive-In for 18 years, for 9 years she operated the restaurant and catering services at Hickory Grove Golf Course. Mrs. Wall worked at the Sycamore Cafeteria and for 8 years she owned and operated Lorene’s Beauty Shop in Sycamore. She was a member of the Knights of Pythian Sisters for 51 years in Sycamore and Nevada serving as deputy twice and she held many other offices. Mrs. Wall hobbies included cooking, gardening, sewing, crafts and traveling especially to the south. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. A funeral services will be held Mon. Mar. 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the BRINGMAN CLARK Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stauffer officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-3:00 p.m. on Sun. Mar. 7, 2010 in the BRINGMAN CLARK Funeral Home.
