Lawrence "Larry" L. Logsdon

Lawrence (Larry) L. Logsdon age 81 of Upper Sandusky died at 5:30 p.m. on Thurs. March 25, 2010 in the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center . He was born on Feb. 15, 1929 in Salem Twp. to the late Wilfrid L. and Emma C. (Reinhart) Logsdon. He married Janet H. Rall on June 6, 1950 in St. Peter Catholic Church and she survives. Mr. Logsdon is also survived by, Susan (Richard) Marsh, Toledo, Richard (Diane) Logsdon, Marion, Ann (Alan) Richards, Upper Sandusky, Paul (Terri) Logsdon, Port St. Lucie, FL, Lauren (Michael) Bush, Upper Sandusky, Frances (David) Boucher, Forest, grandchildren, Richie (Joanie) & Nathan Marsh, Anthony (Beth) & Todd (Stacy) Larick, Tanya (Lynn) Lewis, Justin (Amy) Logsdon, Amy Volpp, Jason (Sarah) & Jacob Richards, Sarah Wall, Annette (Zach) Justice, step grandchildren, Tim & Justina Bush, great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Montana, Mia & Prudence Marsh, Zachary Larick, Darian Chapman, Grant Lewis, Finneghan Logsdon, Trevor & Tyler Volpp, Brent Richards, Caleb, Eulett & Madalyn Justice. 4 brothers, Harold (Mary Lou) Logsdon, Fostoria, C. Patrick (Rita) Logsdon, Upper Sandusky, Joseph (Frieda) Logsdon, Findlay, Father Wilfrid Logsdon, Brunswick, GA, 1 sister, Elizabeth Powell, Carey, a sister-in-law, Peg Logsdon, Findlay. He was preceded in death by four brothers James, Edmund, Eugene, and Herman. Mr. Logsdon graduated from Salem High School in 1947 and was a US Army Veteran. He retired from Niederkohr Brothers Construction after 45 years as a carpenter and was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church where he was a Ministry of Hospitality and Reader of the Word. Mr. Logsdon was a life member and past Grand Knight of the K of C Council #2050, he also was a life member of BPOE #83. He enjoyed gardening and wood working. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 29, 2010 at 10:30am in St. Peter Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of The Lord Parish with Father Robert Denninger and Father Wilfrid Logsdon Con Celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery with full Military Graveside Rites performed by Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard. Friends may call at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home from 1-4pm Sun. March 28, 2010, a Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 3:45pm.
