Marilyn J Wolfe

Marilyn J. Wolfe, age 78 of Upper Sandusky died at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday Oct. 26, 2014 at 3:45am. She was born on July 4, 1936 in Mifflin Twp. to Floyd R. and Dorothy E. (Schwilk) Culver. Marilyn married Kenneth Wolfe on Oct. 16, 1955 and they celebrated 59 years of marriage. He survives in Upper Sandusky. Mrs. Wolfe is survived by a son Steven (Cheryl) Wolfe, Upper Sandusky, 2 daughters Pamela (Jerry) Swerline, Upper Sandusky, Denise (Dr. Anthony) Arnold, Harpster, 8 grandchildren Nathan (Julie Colvin) Wolfe, Lindsay (Brent) Baker, Jaron (Tristin) Swerline, Kiley Arnold, Brice Arnold, Lia Arnold, Benjamin Arnold, Adam Arnold, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Floyd Allen “Bud” (Ann) Culver, Defiance, David (Teresa) Culver, Westerville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Lisa Wolfe. Mrs. Wolfe graduated from Upper Sandusky class of 1954 and was a 4-H member. She became a homemaker. Mrs. Wolfe was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ where she served as the Superintendent and Sunday School teacher and was the choir conductor. She then became a member of Trinity Evangelical Methodist Church where she helped with youth group and delivered tapes to shut inns. Marilyn was a former member of the Farm Bureau, National Camping and Hikers Association and the Wyandottes Camping Association. For hobbies she enjoyed crafts, flower gardening, collecting bears, cooking and crocheting and selling of beads. Time shared with her grandchildren and being a wonderful grandma was important to her. A funeral service will be held on Wed. Oct. 29, 2014 at 10:00am in Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Oct. 28, 2014 from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
