Marilyn Ann Binau

Marilyn Ann Binau, age 78 formerly of Upper Sandusky and more recently of Port Orchard, WA died at Harrison Hospital, Bremerton, WA on March 2, 2011 at 11:15 a.m. She was born on April 12, 1932 in Upper Sandusky to the late Carl H. Hehr and Mary H. (Gamber) Hehr. She married Gene A. Binau on July 23, 1950 and they later divorced. Ms. Binau has 6 children surviving Dirk A. Binau, Houston, TX, Mark A. (Connie) Binau, Upper Sandusky, OH, Angelee A. (Michael) Conner, Flag City, AZ, Dal A. Binau, Nevada, OH, Kip A. (Karen) Binau, Carey, OH, Tenna A. (Michael) Ball, Port Orchard, WA, 14 grandchildren Chasity Kuttrus, Chad Binau, Shane Binau, Nicole Bogy, Chelee Skinner, Lyndsay Binau, Wes Binau, Cameron Binau, Carson Binau, Cory Binau, Craig Binau, Kerri Anderson, Kemp Ball, Brandais Ball, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a brother William Hehr. She was preceded in death by a sister Lucile Hehr and brother Don Hehr. Marilyn was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church in Port Orchard, WA. She was a mother, homemaker and former co-owner of Tee Pee Camp Ground. Ms. Binau had worked for the Riverview Inn, Wood’s Steer Barn, Village Restaurant, Bono’s, Karl Golf Club, Neumeister’s Bakery, Freighthouse, Elks Lodge BPOE #83, and Party Pak. While living in the state of Washington she worked for Illahee Bed & Breakfast and McCormick Woods Golf Course. Marilyn enjoyed any kind of music and playing the piano. She had played in several piano recitals at Heidelberg College. Her greatest love was her family. A memorial service was held on March 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rill Life Tribute Center, Port Orchard, WA. A family graveside service will be held at a later date in Old Mission Cemetery.
