Maxine Tracy

Maxine Tracy age 81 of Twp. Rd. 173 Forest, OH died on Tues. Feb. 19, 2008 at 5:29AM in the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.She was born on Sept. 17, 1926 in Mt. Blanchard, OH to Frank "Pete"Marshall and Eva (Bame) Marshall. They are both deceased. Maxine married William V. Tracy Sr. on March 11, 1947 in Greenup, KY and he died on March 17, 2007. Surviving is a daughter Kathy Cooper, Forest, ten grandchildren Dr. Kathleen Tracy, Michelle Frey, Marshall Tracy, Morgan Cooper, Charlotte Tracy, Billy Tracy, Matthew Tracy, Melissa Tracy, Alec Cooper, Alyssa Cooper, eight great grandchildren Dominic Tracy, Caleb Tracy, Gabriel Tracy, Aslynn Tracy, Shawn Frey, Maxwell Frey, Kiara Baker, Kolten Baker, one brother Jerry Marshall, Bluffton, OH, three sisters Nancy Marshall, Forest, OH, Regina Hougendobler, Richmond, VA, Sally Jordan, Lake Lure, NC. She was preceded in death by two sons Gary Tracy, William Tracy Jr. and a brother Jimmy Marshall. Maxine graduated from Mt. Blanchard High School and Tiffin Business School. She started working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a clerk. She then worked in the office for United Air Craft Products, Forest, the former Closures, Findlay, Mar Metal, Upper Sandusky. Maxine continued her career as an owner and operator of My Nails, Findlay. She retired from Buckeye Machine in 1992 as an office manager. Maxine attended the Bridge Port Church. She was a life time member of the VFW #1182 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the American Business Women's Association and a member of the former Bunko Club. Maxine's hobbies included sewing, baking, camping, reading, shopping and porch sitting. She liked playing rummy with her grandchildren and she truly enjoyed spoiling them. A funeral service will be held on Friday Feb. 22, 2008 at 11:00AM in the CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home with Pastor Gregg King officiating. There will be a private family burial at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday Feb. 21, 2008 from 3-8PM in the CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Hardin County Cancer in care of CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843
