Narciso (Cecil) Amesquita

Narciso (Cecil) Amesquita age 89 of Upper Sandusky, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday April 1, 2017 in Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 31, 1927 in Logos De Moreno Jalisco, Mexico to Bonifico and Maria (Mata) Amesquita. He married Alicia G. on November 6, 1948 and they celebrated 68 years of marriage. She survives in Upper Sandusky. Mr. Amesquita is survived by five sons Johnny Amesquita, Upper Sandusky, Rick (Sandy) Amesquita, Upper Sandusky, Kenny Raul Amesquita, Vanlue, Manuel (Sharon) Amesquita, Harpster, Narciso Jr. Amesquita, Upper Sandusky, three daughters Mary Fox, Upper Sandusky, Rosie (Tip) Myers, Nevada, Linda (Steve) Miller, Upper Sandusky, 19 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a sister Bentura. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Ken Fox, brother Gabriel and sister Antonia. Mr. Amesquita came to the United States at the age of 20 and became a United States Citizen in 1981. He retired from Ruttman Construction Company. Mr. Amesquita also worked for Lozano Construction and Clancy Tiell Construction and 16 years for Henry Schuster Carpentry. Mr. Amesquita was a member of Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church and a former member of the AmVets Post #777, VFW Post #2842, American Legion Post #225, Moose Lodge #1093. For hobbies he enjoyed working in the yard, mowing lawns, wood working, gardening, fishing, going to garage sales and spending time with grandchildren. On his wife's birthday known as taco day he enjoyed playing poker. Mr. Amesquita received the block key from Mononque. He will be remembered as a jokester, a good man and always willing to lend a helping hand. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 11:00am in Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Weibl officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30am-10:30am at Bringman Clark Funeral Home.
