Funeral services for Marjorie A. McCann, 70, of Wharton, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shields Funeral Home, Forest, the Revs. Clarence Thornton and Cathy Wirth officiating. Burial will be in Wharton-Richland Union Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. McCann died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2000 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident on County Road 330 and U.S. 30 west of Upper Sandusky. She was born May 4, 1930 in Perrysburg to Walter and Frances (Fresher) Sahloff. She married Thomas G. McCann on Aug. 3, 1952, and he also died in the car accident on Aug. 11, 2000. Surviving are a son, Steven McCann, Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Kelly Redd, Kenton; two grandchildren; a brother, William Sahloff, Monclova; and two sisters, Mrs. James (Jean) Buehrle, Gibsonburg; and Dorothy Sahloff, Perrysburg. Mrs. McCann was an RN at Fairhaven Health Care Community, Upper Sandusky. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. WW II US ARMY VETERAN Thomas G. He was born July 1, 1918 in Minetto, N.Y. to George L. and Myrtle (Potter) McCann. He married Marjorie A. Sahloff on Aug. 3, 1952, and she also died in the car accident on Aug. 11, 2000. Surviving are a son, Steven McCann, Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Kelly Redd, Kenton; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. William (Mary Jean) Nagel, Oswego, N.Y. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Mr. McCann worked for Engineer and Wire Co. in Upper Sandusky before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
