Andrew "Ty" Farthing Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Andrew Tyler “Ty” Farthing age 47 of Forest, passed away under Bridge Hospice in Blanchard Valley Hospital on Friday June 10, 2022. He was born on October 17, 1974 to James C. and Rosemary L. (Cole) Farthing. Ty is survived by his mom Rosemary of Forest, daughter Alexis Farthing of Forest, sister Barbara (Jim) Farrell of Forest and uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He also loved 4 other children as his own: Corwin Barry, Aidan Barry, Jaylin Webster and Braxton Webster. He was preceded in death by his father James, son Sabastian R. Farthing and brother Douglas E. Farthing. Ty graduated from Riverdale High School class of 1993. He was a truck driver for Lingistisides in Paulding, OH. Ty enjoyed the NHR and his favorite driver was John Force as well as being an avid Michigan Wolverines and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. During boyhood he would hunt and fish. Ty loved the outdoors especially camping. He was an animal lover and a simple man who was rugged, rowdy, and all around a great story teller. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 15,2022 from 4pm-7pm at Clark Shields Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
