Audrey D. Metzger age 87 of Kenton, died at Findlay Hospice Care Center on Apr. 25, 2022. She was born Apr. 30, 1934 in Kenton to the late Fay and Ermal (Miller) Smith. She married Merle L. Metzger on July 12, 1952, he preceded her in death on Mar. 26, 2011. Mrs. Metzger is survived by her children Connie (Greg) Byers, Kenton, Ron (Deb) Metzger, Forest, Cindy (Casey) Messenger, FL and Joe Metzger, FL, grandchildren Dustin Stewart, Brandy Bowman, Ashley (Travis) Weber, Candace (Kelby) Weaver, Chance Metzger, Erica Metzger, a step grandchild Cody (Danielle) Messenger, great grandchildren Aidan, Ryleigh and Hanna Stewart, Lane, Peyton and Haylie Weber, Azryelle Carington, Kendran, Kamrie and Kace Weaver, Kayden and Violet Messenger, and a sister Carolyn Smith, Bellefontaine. She is preceded in death by sisters Mary Jo Stewart, Pat Ehora and a brother Richard “Dick” Smith. She was a graduate of Kenton High School with the class of 1952. She was a homemaker and a member of Forest United Methodist Church. Mrs. Metzger enjoyed watching Ohio State Football and Basketball, playing Domino’s and SkipBo especially with her best friend Ellen Fultz. A graveside service will be held on Fri. Apr. 29, 2022 at 1:00PM in the Hueston Cemetery with Pastor David Odegard officiating.
