Carl T. Bayes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carl T. Bayes, age 80 of Forest died Mon. June 20, 2016 in Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton. He was born Apr. 3, 1936 in Swamp Branch, KY to the late Sam & Edna (Collins) Bayes. He married Alberta Fay Gleisinger on May 25, 1957 and she died Dec. 26, 2014. Mr. Bayes is survived by his children Tamara (Steven) McCloud, Ada, Greg (Athena) Bayes, Forest, Jeffrey (Mary) Bayes, FL, Twila (Raymond) Tackett, Forest, Bryan (Stacy) Bayes, Forest, eleven grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, a brother Charles Bayes, Forest, a sister Thelma Ruth (Densil) Lester, KY. He was preceded in death by a brother Sherman Bayes. He worked at the Huber Co., and Marion Power & Shovel both of Marion. He was an avid racoon hunter. He enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, and going to flea markets. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Fri. June 24, 2016 in Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Hannah officiating. Interment will follow in Patterson Cemetery, Forest. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8PM Thurs June 23, 2016 at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest. Memorial donations may be made to Hardin County Humane Society in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson Forest, OH 45843.
