Cheryl Lynn Weber

Cheryl Lynn Weber 63, of Mt. Blanchard went home to be with the Lord on Sat. June 25, 2016. Cheryl was born Apr. 1, 1953 to the late William N. Dilley and Anna M. (Born) Dilley of Patterson. She married her high school sweetheart Patrick R. Weber on August 4, 1973 and he survives. In addition to her husband and mother, Cheryl is survived by two sons and their families: Ty (Emily) Weber of Forest and their sons Lex and Tate, and Scott (Heather) Weber of Forest, their daughter Madelynn and sons Eli and Lincoln. Also surviving are three brothers Nelson (Etta) Dilley, Upper Sandusky, Wayne (Karon) Dilley, Forest, Dana (Robyn) Dilley, Mt. Blanchard. She was preceded in death by her father William, father-in-law Roy D. Weber, mother-in-law Ruth E. Weber, and brother-in-law Thomas P. Weber. Cheryl was a 1971 graduate of Riverdale High School where she was a cheerleader and in the marching band. While still in high school she began working part time for a business which would later become Knueven Schroeder & Co., Findlay, she stayed there until retiring in 2014, well over 40 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church and was a long time member of the Mt. Blanchard Family Tree OCCL mothers club. Cheryl enjoyed spending time at their place at Indian Lake. She also loved attending her grandkids school and sporting events, and even through her struggles over the past two years the number of those events that she missed could be counted on one hand. Cheryl spent the majority of her time and energy trying to enrich the lives of her family and those around her. The family would to thank Dr. Freshwater, Dr. Shannon, Dr. Lutz, and all the nurses in the infusion center at Armes Family Cancer Care. A funeral service will be held on Thurs. June 30, 2015 at 10:30AM in the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church with Pastor Jan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Mt. Blanchard. Visitation will be held from 2-8:00PM on Wed. June 29, 2016 at CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home.
