David E. “Lil Dave” Grubbs Jr. age 37 of Forest died the emergency room at Hardin Memorial Hospital on Oct. 2, 2021. He was born on Jan. 11, 1984 in Kenton to David (Mary) Grubbs, Forest and Sharon (Sam Nichols) Holtzberer Grubbs, Kenton. He is survived by a daughter Jade Marie Buchanan, Forest, a maternal grandmother, Betty Bayes, Bucyrus, a sister Rachael Fall, Dola, 4 step-brothers Christopher, T.J., Michael and Kevin Smith. He is preceded in death by grandfathers Harvey Grubbs and Clayton Holtzberger. Mr. Grubbs was a member of the Pitch Fork Gang, Patterson. He enjoyed playing video games, fishing, arrow head hunting, and his dog Low Rider. A graveside service will be held Thurs. Oct. 7, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Patterson Cemetery, Forest with Jason Kearns officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-5PM Wed. Oct. 6, 2021 at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest. Memorial contributions may be made to Clark Shields Funeral Home to assist the family, and may be mailed to Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
