Irene M. Naus Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Irene M. Naus, age 91 of Forest died at 9:00 a.m. Mon. Sept. 14, 2015 in Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Sept. 11, 1924 in Wyandot Co. to the late R. Elmer and Jessie M. (Hankins) Wolford. She married Lloyd M. Naus on Aug. 20, 1944 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 2014. Lloyd and Irene had four children together. Karon (Wayne) Dilley of Forest have 2 children Jeff (Carrie) Dilley and Eric (Shirley) Dilley, great grandchildren Ashley, Emma, Lauren Megan, Troy, Trent, Allison and Jenna. James (Sue) Naus of Forest have a son Ben Naus. Jane (Dan) Ramsey of Mt. Victory have 3 children Pamela (J.D.) Howard, Dr. Katie (Josh) Benson, Grant (Kara) Ramsey, great grandchildren Hallie, Mason, Jonah and Kaelyn. Betty (Rick) McCullough of Kenton have 2 children Renee (Cory) Hoffman and Alex McCullough, a great grandchild Colby. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Opal Wentz and Ethel Horn. In 1942 she graduated from Forest High School. Mrs. Naus was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She was part owner of Country Folks Craft Business. She enjoyed being a seamstress, and making clothing for her family. Mrs. Naus was a great cook and baker. She enjoyed going to many grandchildren's and great grandchildren's activities. She enjoyed fishing and sharing time with family and friends at their family pond. A funeral service will be held on Fri. Sept. 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Center Cemetery, Forest. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Sept. 17, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest United Methodist Church or Hardin County Hospice in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S.
