M. Jane Hehr

M. Jane Hehr, age 93 of Cavanaugh Ct., Upper Sandusky died at Fairhaven Community on Tuesday Feb. 10, 2015 at 2:20pm. She was born July 2, 1921 in Upper Sandusky to Mervin Myers and Helen (Secoy) Myers. She married Charles E. Hehr on January 28, 1939 and they shared 76 years of marriage. Mrs. Hehr is survived by a daughter Marcina S. (David) Mason of Upper Sandusky, OH, a son John M. Hehr, Houston, TX, five grandchildren David (Rheta) Mason, Michael Mason, Scott (Erin) Hehr, Lori Camper, Jeffrey (Ashley) Hehr, nine great grandchildren Kate (Josh) Loverich, Ian (Krystal) Mason, Christian Mason, Ashton Hehr, Kylie Hehr, Tara Camper, Jessica Camper, McKenzie Hehr, Riley Hehr, one great great grandson Grady Loverich, two sisters Ruth Cavanaugh, Upper Sandusky and Joan Leigh, Upper Sandusky. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Dale Myers and Paul Myers. Mrs. Hehr was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Jane graduated from Sycamore High School class of 1938. In 1958 she became the first clerk of the Municipal Court and after 28 years she retired. She was a life member of the Ohio Association of Municipal Court Clerks and served on the board for many years. She received the Outstanding Clerk Award in 1983. Mrs. Hehr was a member of the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild, Women of the Moose, Wyandot County Historical Society, and Mohawk Historical Society. Jane served and volunteered for the Star Players, Wyandot Memorial Hospital and the American Red Cross Blood Mobile. Jane was an avid OSU fan and booster club member. She enjoyed a good time no matter what she was doing at work, civically or with family and friends. When time permitted she enjoyed cooking, crafts, traveling and playing golf. Mrs. Hehr always had her home decorated for each season of the year. Mostly Jane was the epitome of class and style. Her demure elegance and gentle presence will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her. A funeral service will be held Saturday February 14, 2015 at 12:00pm in BRINGMAN CLARK Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Trester officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
