Oliver J. Karg II Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Oliver J. “Ollie” Karg II age 56, of Upper Sandusky died at his residence at 3:54 p.m. on May 21, 2015. He was born on Nov. 7, 1958 to Oliver J. and Sharon R. (Ault) Karg who survive in Upper Sandusky. On Sept. 29, 1978 he married Barbara Ann Holdcraft who preceded him in death of July 12, 2006. Surviving is a son Richard T. “Richie” (Kaila) Karg, Chesapeake, VA, a daughter Anna M. Karg, Upper Sandusky, seven grandchildren Mathew Gerstenberger, Makiya Brown, Upper Sandusky, Analiese, MaKenzie, Zachary, Taylor and Jerry Karg of Chesapeake, VA. Two sisters Esther (Donnie) Weaver, Wharton and Pam (Frank) Bloomfield, Oceola, two nephews Doug and Nic Weaver, Wharton. Mr. Karg was a 1977 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. He had worked at Wyandot Vault Co. and Guardian Industries. His memberships included AmVets #777 and was a former member of the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed his pet dogs Angel and JoJo. His were hobbies hunting and fishing. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sat. May 23, 2015 in the Old Mission Cemetery with Rev. Doug Pummell officiating.
