Edna M Riddle

Edna M. Riddle age 86, formerly of Marion, Upper Sandusky, and Wildwood, Fla. and had been residing in Kenton, OH. She died at The Corinthian Nursing Home, Kenton, OH at 10:40AM on Friday July 4, 2008. She was born on March 7, 1922 in Marion, OH to the late William G. and Minnie E. (Storer) Haberman. She married Robert L. Riddle on July 3, 1941 in Angola, Ind and he died on September 22, 2001.Edna is survived by a daughter Judy Dorsey, Kenton, OH and three Grandchildren Jeff (Dawn) Dorsey, Kenton, OH Jed (Karin) Dorsey, Lima, OH and Beth Erter, Kenton, OH and five Great Grandchildren Allison, Ethan, Dillyn, Samatha, and Alanna.A Brother Allen (Mary) Haberman, Batesville, MS, and a Sister Mrs. Gene Shirley Marquis, Marion, OH also survives. She was preceded in death by one brother William and four sisters Mary Kathryn Gill, Cleo Bucher, Bernice Reynolds, Jean LaRue. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Upper Sandusky, OH. She was a graduate of Marion Harding in 1938 and she received her Bachelor Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She was a homemaker and retired teacher after 28 years, where she taught first grade starting at Marion Catholic School and then most of her teaching years at first grade at Marseilles, OH. Prior to teaching she and her late husband owned and operated the Isaly's Store in Upper Sandusky, OH. Edna enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and playing cards. She was an avid reader, and liked working Cross Word puzzles and Jig Saw puzzles. Edna also enjoyed crafts, playing games and was a proud OSU fan. Edna was a competive person by nature and played to win. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 11:30AM at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Brad McKibben officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, OH. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 9, 2008 after 10:00AM until the time of service at Brigman Clark Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Hardin Co. Cancer Society, Shriners Childrens Hospital or to the Disable Veterans Association, in care of the Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E.
