Gary A. Kuhn

Gary A. Kuhn 75 of Forest, passed away Wednesday June 30, 2010 at 3:10 pm at Bridge Hospice Care Center Findlay, Ohio. He was born in Ft. Wayne, IN. on April 23, 1935 to Gustav and Gladys (McClain) Kuhn. He is survived by a loving companion of twenty-five years, Mary Jane Koehler of Forest. He is also survived by his four children and six step children. Sons Chris(Jackie) Kuhn of Vaughnsville, Ohio and David (Bonnie) Kuhn of Ridgeway, Ohio. Daughters Cindy (Charlie) Roberts of Richwood, Ohio and Marie (Lou) Perez of Marysville, Ohio. Step Children Marlon (Deb) Harp of Alger, Ohio; Rance(Lori) Harp of Kenton, Ohio, Peggy (Lyle) Heberling of Ridgeway,O, Penny (Greg) Ansley of Alger,O, Vance Koehler of Doylestown, PA. and Deanna Koehler of Forest,O. Gary has seven grandchildren and many Great Granchildren and step grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Phillip (Ginny) Kuhn of Delphos,O, sisters Barb( Ralph) Sells of Magnolia,TX., Sharon (Don) Tracey of New Haven, IN. and Kathy Feichter of Ossian, IN. His first wife survives Wilma C. Haven of Kenton,O. One deceased sister, Linda Scott.Gary is also survived by his faithful felines, Jessie and Boots. He loved his two kitties very much. His love of the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg, TN. Was only exceeded by the love he had for Nascar auto racing. He cheered Dale Earnhart to many victories and enjoyed watching Dale Jr. in later years. He enjoyed traveling with, Mary Jane in their motor home where they spent the winter in Florida with his brother and his wife. Gary was proud to have served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged from active serice May 1957. He was retired from United Aircraft products (Parker Hannifin) in Forest after thirty two years in the maintence department and in later years as a receiving clerk. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday July 3, 2010 at Clark Shields Funeral, Forest, Ohio with Pastor Dennis Livingston officiating. Friends may call after 10:00 am.Saturday until the time of services at Clark Shields Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hueston Cemetery, Forest,O. There will be no graveside service at Hueston Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Wyandot Co. Humane Society in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S.
