Marjorie Reile Shane

Marjorie Reile Shane, 95 formerly of US 30 Upper Sandusky and more recently of the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky, died on Mon. March 3, 2008 at 8:27AM in the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Dec. 24, 1912 in Wyandot County to Edward S. and Lillian Mae (Hetzel) Wyss. Marjorie married Ulrich Reile and they divorced she later married Wilbur Shane and they both preceded her in death. Surviving is one son James W. (Emma) Reile, Upper Sandusky, one daughter Mrs. Nolan Kathleen Green, Jacksonville, TX, five grandchildren James E. Reile, Upper Sandusky, Randall Reile, Upper Sandusky, Patricia Young, Upper Sandusky, Donald Reile, Columbus, Rachel Kaplan, Maineville, ten great grandchildren Kara Arter, Upper Sandusky, Jevon Reile, Streetsboro, OH, Jessica Reile, Upper Sandusky, Hannah Reile, Upper Sandusky, Joseph Reile, Upper Sandusky, Stuart Young, Upper Sandusky, Abigail Young, Upper Sandusky, Evan Young, Upper Sandusky, Kiersten Kaplan, Maineville, Chloe Kaplan, Maineville, one step grandson Nathan Green, Huston, TX, two step great grandsons David Green, Houston, TX, Daniel Green, Houston, TX. Also part of the family is Sandra (Reile) Micheli and family, Upper Sandusky. She was preceded in death by sister Mrs. Luella Koehler. She graduated from Salem High School in 1930. Marjorie was a life member at the St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday school pianist and teacher. She was also a member of the former Ruth Naomi Circle of the church. She was a homemaker and had worked at Fairhaven Home, Westinghouse and Millington Corps. Marjorie was a blood moblie runner for the American Red Cross for many years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and collecting butterflies. She and Wilbur loved to travel all around the world. A funeral service will be held on Friday March 7, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Henry Seibert officiating. Burial will be in the Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Visitation will be held on Thursday March6, 2008 from 4-8PM.
