Reva Terry

Reva Mae Terry age 93, formerly of Marseilles, OH died at the Fairhaven Health Care Community, Upper Sandusky, OH at 1:45AM on Saturday September 1, 2007.She was born May 29, 1914 in Mt. Blanchard, she was a daughter of Orville Staley and Mary Pever Staley. She married Maurice Henry Terry on July 19, 1941 in Mt. Blanchard, OH and he is deceased on July 26, 2006. Mrs. Terry is survived by 3 nephews, James Staley, Lima, OH, Terry Hartle, Upper Sandusky, Phil Hoelcher, Miami, Fla., and 1 niece Anne McGiny, Scottsdale, AZ and a Great nephew, Mike Staley, and a Great Great Nephew Erik and a sister-In-Law, Winogene Hartle of Upper Sandusky. A brother John Staley is deceased. She was a member of the Marseilles Presbyterian Church for more than 65 years, where she was the Church Organist and pianist for 40 years. She was a Sunday School teacher for both the Adult and Young adults, she was a member and served as President of the Womens Missionary Group. She graduated from Mt. Blanchard High School and was a graduate of Findlay College in 1936, where she established an educational scholarship. Reva was a retired English and Math school teacher having taught 4 years in Mifflin Twp., 10 years in Marseilles and 11 years in Upper Sandusky Schools. She was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association and the Wyandot Co. Farm Bureau. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, music, reading, and traveling. Reva will be remembered for her humble approachto life and being kind to others. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Bringman-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Roth and Rev. Don Loving officiating. Burial will be in the Tymochtee Cemetery, Marseilles, OH.
